Since the Aides contract was ratified in January, myself and your Vice President, Phil Rucci, have been negotiating the stipend for crisis team members and trainers as stipulated in the Aides MOA. We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement, and in the course of these meetings, were able to negotiate additional benefits for both the Aides and the Certified Staff! Bereavement days and a sizable increase in chaperone pay included! We will be holding a ratification meeting and 2 separate votes (one for Aides and one for certified staff) on Wednesday, May 22nd at 3:30 in the Rye Lake Campus Gym, the same day as the General Meeting. A copy of the proposals will be mailed to your home address. We look forward to seeing you and don't forget to cast your vote for your BTA officers on May 14th (CTE & Tappan) and May 15th (RLC). Sincerely, Phil Rucci, Vice President Melissa Barreto, President If anyone is interested in this opportunity, a new school opening up at the International School campus in Thailand, please contact Sheryl Lopez at [email protected]
